Here are some videos of the infamous Mugen RR.

Mugen RR Spotted

Monday, March 1st, 2010

While one of our Option staff members was in Macau last he spotted an ultra rare Mugen RR. Only 300 were ever produced. Considered by many to be the ultimate Honda Civic, it featured 2.0 liter that produced 240 hp at 8,000 rpm and 160ft at 7,000 revs. Although the car was pricey it was well worth having such features as body kit designed and made by Dome, Brembo brakes, Recaro buckets seat made from carbon fiber, Rays wheels, and of course a complete package made and tuned by Mugen. It is no wonder why the car sold out within the first 10 minutes it was on sale!!!!

We were fortunate enough to take some pictures of it.

COLORS BABY!!!

Monday, March 1st, 2010

Colors, colors and more colors. It seems that our aftermarket industry hottest trend is bright colors. Green, orange, purple and pink seem to be the hot colors nowadays. A few years back tuners wouldn’t be caught dead with any crazy colored wheel. Perceptions started to change a few years back when a few with visionary eyesight saw how hot a set of Gab Sport Rims (think ….Rota GT3) in red could be. It didn’t take long before the masses caught on. Nowadays it is common to see pink, red, and gold on any given Honda vehicle.

Is the color thing here to stay? We think so.

Coming this spring is the new GP Racing GR-2 in Orange Crush 16×7, 4×100 and 4×114.3. They are hot and coming in limited quantities. Looking to purchase a set? Send us an email to wholesale@optionjdm.com with your city you are located and we will refer you to the nearest dealer.
