Skunk2’s completely redesigned, fully adjustable Pro-S II Coilovers have arrived. Similar to Skunk2’s industry-leading Pro-C Coilovers, Pro-S II Coilovers now feature double-adjustable ride height and a state-of-the-art mono-tube design. Thanks to threaded shock bodies, Pro-S II Coilovers now offer height adjustments independent of spring preload, which results in ride-height changes as low as three inches without sacrificing shock travel or ride comfort. Quick and precise ride-height adjustments can now be made for dialing in corner balancing as well as for improved handling, responsiveness, and overall balance. Skunk2’s track- and street-tested Pro-S II shock valving offers the perfect balance between daily driving and track performance and its all-new, shortened shock bodies and reduced shaft strokes help maintain adequate suspension travel on lowered vehicles for improved performance without sacrificing comfort.

Pro-S II Coilovers feature vehicle-specific valving dialed in by Skunk2’s suspension engineers, carefully selected springs designed to dramatically improve handling, and a race-inspired, mono-tube design for superior performance. Skunk2’s micro-polished, mono-tube design, combined with its precision-machined, oversized shafts and pistons, ensure that each Pro-S II Coilover is both responsive and durable. The results are unmatched cornering grip, reduced body roll, and a feel of vehicle control and stability like no other.

Like all Skunk2 Coilovers, its Pro-S II Coilovers feature hard-anodized, CNC-machined, forged 6061-T6 aluminum spring perches and CNC-wound racing springs manufactured from high-quality, SAE9254V spring steel. Each spring is designed to optimize the balance between comfort and performance and is custom-matched to their respective shocks. Pro-S II Coilovers offer ride-height adjustments as low as three inches for an aggressive and sporty appearance.

Just like the entire Pro Series lineup, Pro-S II Coilovers set the benchmark for suspension performance. Similar to how Skunk2’s Pro Series Camshafts and Valvetrain revolutionized Honda engine performance, its fully adjustable, Pro-S II Coilovers do just that for enthusiasts who are looking for high-performance suspension components at an affordable price. Based on more than 15 years of racing and suspension tuning experience, Pro-S II Coilovers feature the same technology Skunk2 uses on its own championship-winning road racing and drag racing cars.

Like all Skunk2 products, Pro-S II Coilovers feature a one-year warranty and are designed to provide years of enjoyment for the life of your vehicle. Never wait for a coilover rebuild again; Skunk2 stocks large quantities of replacement dampers that, in most cases, cost less than a typical coilover rebuild. Purchase your replacement dampers directly from Skunk2 to minimize downtime.

Skunk2’s popular, 70mm Pro Series Throttle Bodies for B-series engines are back in stock. Skunk2’s 70mm Throttle Body is the perfect solution for engines that require more airflow than our standard 68mm version. Like all Pro Series Throttle Bodies, the 70mm B-series unit is computer-designed, machined from forged billet 6061-T6 aluminum and hard anodized for durability. Integrated Skunk2 Badge
Also Compatible With D-series, H-series, Accord F-series and S2000 F-series (non-DBW only)

While one of our Option staff members was in Macau last he spotted an ultra rare Mugen RR. Only 300 were ever produced. Considered by many to be the ultimate Honda Civic, it featured 2.0 liter that produced 240 hp at 8,000 rpm and 160ft at 7,000 revs. Although the car was pricey it was well worth having such features as body kit designed and made by Dome, Brembo brakes, Recaro buckets seat made from carbon fiber, Rays wheels, and of course a complete package made and tuned by Mugen. It is no wonder why the car sold out within the first 10 minutes it was on sale!!!!

We were fortunate enough to take some pictures of it.

Green, orange, purple and pink seem to be the hot colors nowadays. A few years back tuners wouldn’t be caught dead with any crazy colored wheel. Perceptions started to change a few years back when a few with visionary eyesight saw how hot a set of Gab Sport Rims (think ….Rota GT3) in red could be. It didn’t take long before the masses caught on. Nowadays it is common to see pink, red, and gold on any given Honda vehicle.

Is the color thing here to stay? We think so.

Coming this spring is the new GP Racing GR-2 in Orange Crush 16×7, 4×100 and 4×114.3. They are hot and coming in limited quantities. Looking to purchase a set? Send us an email to wholesale@optionjdm.com with your city you are located and we will refer you to the nearest dealer.

Congratulations to Compass360 Racing on their victory at Daytona. If you didn’t know already they won last year’s Championship and locked in a manufacture champion for Honda. A lot of people don’t know they are from up North eh. They are a top notch team with incredible level of professionalism which has given them so much success to date. I hope the best for Ray, Turtle and the rest of the Compass360 team for 2010 season. Bring back another championship!!!
